When Jah comes calling,
there’s a new beginning…
Reggae Music meets Christian Salvation, resulting in Godly Vibes.
With inspiration from on-high, lyricist, producer and only recently, singer Stefan H. Young creates fresh, new Gospel Reggae hits, powered by infectious riddims, and which were initially vocalized by Luc Yah ("Luke Yah") - what was originally intended to be his voice-altered virtual persona - but that is now giving way to his own live and authentic vocals, as the LORD leads Stefan to deliver the gospel through his unique Godly Vibes sound.
When Stefan first started receiving musical inspiration from on high, in early February 2026, he was a complete outsider to everything dealing with songwriting, musical production and public performing as an artist. His first musical creation came as divine inspiration one day, which he describes as “extemporaneously singing a full song of shocking complexity and quality while I was simply praising the LORD”. Immediately, he obediently sought to create the song which he knew came from the Holy Spirit as this was nowhere in his wheelhouse.
Not being a singer, although having a very powerful and deep bass-baritone voice, Stefan was very unsure and lacking in confidence about how his new song sounded using his own low-octave vocals. He didn’t want to risk how his new creation might be perceived by listeners and so, Stefan made the initial decision to eliminate any possible voice imperfections or distractions that might detract from the Godly message which he had received - he knew that this message needed to be shared ASAP and had to be of good quality!
That was when Stefan decided to upload his song recordings from his Studio One software, into AI-powered Suno Studio where he instructed the system to turn his vocals into “a smoother, higher-toned voice”. This process led to the ultimate creation of his first twelve singles which Stefan amazingly wrote and produced in under 6 weeks - a feat which has baffled industry insiders. Of course, Stefan knows the source of his musical inspiration is a higher power and it’s therefore no mystery at all how he could do something that even seasoned professionals might consider impossible.
Stefan’s twelve releases, based on 11 original songs that he penned, came to him, one at a time, during nightly prayer and with one even waking him up from deep sleep at 4 am one Tuesday night in late March. He prayerfully received, sang and wrote each song during his communion with the LORD, and thus relied on “virtual” Luc Yah's smooth, and soulful voice to achieve and deliver his original musical creations.
BUT God’s plan was and is not yet complete…
Today, Stefan has embraced the fact that God intends for his own voice to deliver the Father’s messages through the inspired songs he was guided to create. And so, he has embraced the mantle of becoming Luc Yah, a messenger through music, to spread the gospel of repentance, salvation and redemption, as described in his song, “Call Me Luc Yah”.
Born in Trinidad and Tobago, island vibes flow naturally thanks to the Calypso and Soca music of his homeland. Yet it is Stefan’s/Luc Yah’s affinity for Reggae and Dancehall music that shapes his Godly Vibes sounds. The Dub sounds of Trinidad during his formative teenage years were followed by the explosion of Dancehall in the early ‘90s when Shabba Ranks, Buju Banton and others satisfied his musical tastes during his college years, and in the many years thereafter.
Most significantly, having been spiritually transformed by the LORD in 2024, he understands that it is a blessing from the Father that he now pours his faith and passion for Christ into everything that he does, especially into each and every song.
His desire is for fans to enjoy his music and to let his lyrics speak to their souls, for the Glory of God.
