Reggae Music meets Christian Salvation, resulting in Godly Vibes.

With inspiration from on-high, singer-songwriter Stefan H. Young creates fresh Gospel Reggae music, driven by infectious riddims and which he performs as Luc Yah ("Luke Yah"), his artist persona.

When Stefan first started receiving musical inspiration in early February 2026, he was a complete outsider to songwriting and public performing as an artist. His first musical creation came as divine inspiration one day, which he describes as “extemporaneously singing a full song of shocking complexity and quality while I was simply praising the LORD”. Immediately upon receiving this blessing from the Holy Spirit, he obediently sought to record the song which he received as a download from God.

That first song was just the first step in God’s musical pathway for Stefan, as he embarked upon a miraculous journey of musical creation. Within the next five to six weeks, Stefan would pen twelve original songs which came to him every 2 or 3 days during nightly prayer and communion with the LORD, and with one even waking him up from deep sleep at 4 am one Tuesday night in late March.

Today, Stefan walks steadfastly as a servant of the LORD to deliver the Father’s messages through inspired songs he is guided to create. Having embraced the name “Luc Yah” and his new mantle as a musical messenger to spread the gospel of repentance, salvation and redemption, he boldly shares his/God’s music to audiences, as described in his song, “Call Me Luc Yah”.

Born in Trinidad and Tobago, island vibes flow naturally thanks to the Calypso and Soca music of his homeland. Yet it is Stefan’s affinity for Reggae and Dancehall music that shapes his Godly Vibes sounds. The Dub sounds of Trinidad during his formative teenage years were followed by the explosion of Dancehall in the early ‘90s when Shabba Ranks, Buju Banton and others sated his musical tastes during his college years, and in the years thereafter.

Most significantly however, having been spiritually transformed by the LORD in 2024, he understands that it is a blessing from the Father that he now pours his faith and passion for Christ into everything that he does, especially into each and every song.

His desire is for fans to enjoy his music and to let his lyrics speak to their souls, for the Glory of God.
