FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

From Grief to Grace: Luc Yah to Make Spirit-Led Debut of Divine New Sound, After Tragic Loss, in First-Ever Performance.

“My songs weren't written; they were received. After losing my daughter, I found myself in a desolate and inconsolable place where only Jesus could sustain me; and it was in my most broken state that He set the stage for my spiritual transformation. I know God gave me these songs as messages for those who are lost in the darkness and need spiritual healing.” ‍ ‍– Luc Yah

Lake Mary, FL — April 14, 2026.

‍On Sunday, April 26th, the Caribbean Fusion Festival at Kissimmee’s Lakefront Park will witness a performance that transcends traditional entertainment. In his first-ever public appearance, brand-new local artist Luc Yah will take the stage to debut three original songs born from a place of profound tragedy and divine inspiration.

Following the recent loss of his daughter, who was only 29, Luc Yah, whose actual name is Stefan H. Young, found himself at a crossroads of grief and faith which he believes led to his being “reborn” into the “new man” that he has become. His spiritual transformation has recently led to his rapid creation of Spirit-breathed Gospel Reggae songs – which he describes as "inspiration from on high" – marking his transition from a grieving father to a messenger of hope, salvation and redemption.

With the ink barely dry from writing his eleventh song, “Jah Blessed”, Luc Yah’s out-of-the-blue musical journey is stunning and impressing casual listeners and industry insiders alike, especially once they learn that he only started making music in early February 2026 when a tune which he sang extemporaneously while praising and worshipping alone at home, shocked him to his core with its quality and message; and so, he obediently sought to turn his utterances into his first song, “Don’t Criticize Me”. ‍

"My songs all came to me, as if downloaded from God himself.", says Luc Yah. "The tragedy of my daughter’s death forced me to open the door to Jesus like never before, and my music is a testimony to the power of God in our darkest hours as He alone can bring the light. This will not just be my first time performing; it’ll be my first time sharing the Gospel and a piece of my soul with the world in a public setting."

The power of Luc Yah’s lyrics and musical quality of his initial releases attracted the attention of event promoters which has led to his latest evolution from songwriter and producer, to now unveiling himself as an on-stage performer ready to unleash his unique bass-baritone vocals. Festival attendees are invited to witness this raw, authentic debut that promises to be one of the most moving highlights of the event.

  • The Music: Three newly penned tracks that blend Reggae with Luc Yah’s soulful and jazzy rhythms of the Caribbean, and all rooted with a powerful, spiritual message.
